First graders' registration opened

<p>Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi announced opening registration for first graders for academic year 2019-2020 according to Education Law 27/2005 provisions. <br /> The law stipulated the compulsoriness of joining school for six year olds who have attained school age at the start of each and every school year. <br /> The ministry has opened the door for registration of children born in December 2012 and also children born between January 2013 and August 2013. <br /> The ministry is committed to provision of free basic and secondary educational services in governmental schools in compliance with the Constitution and the Law. <br /> The ministry’s Hall in Isa Town is assigned as the place for registration starting from Sunday, January 27 until Wednesday, February 6 between 8 am and 1 pm as follows: <br /> 1- Children born December 2012: registration on Sunday, 27/1/2019. <br /> 2- Children born January 2013: registration on Monday 28/1/2019. <br /> 3- Children born February 2013: registration on Tuesday 29/1/2019. <br /> 4- Children born March 2013: registration on Wednesday 30/1/2019. <br /> 5- Children born April 2013: registration on Thursday 31/1/2019. <br /> 6- Children born May 2013: registration on Sunday 3/2/2019 <br /> 7- Children born June 2013: registration on Monday 4/2/2019. <br /> 8- Children born July 2013: registration on Tuesday 5/2/2019. <br /> 9- Children born August 2013: registration on Wednesday 6/2/2019. <br /> The child must be accompanied by parent or guardian who should present the following documents: <br /> -Original birth certificate and a copy of it. <br /> -Original ID smart card and a copy of it (both passports of parent and child). <br /> -Original passport and a copy of it (both passports of parent and child). <br /> -Copy of residence visa of both child and parent (for non-Bahrainis). <br /> Parents are advised by the Ministry of Education to comply with the prescribed dates for registration of their child/children. <br /></p>
